The problem I see most often is natural lifters following a bodybuilding program that is specifically designed for enhanced lifters. But as we've seen, you need to put something in place to compensate for the differences in size that you experience as a natural lifter versus a bodybuilder, and the most effective natural lifters often have a unique, custom training approach to help them do so. This was actually a great help for me, because my first competition came at a time in my bodybuilding career when I was pretty much just starting out and needed a huge body in order to get to some bigger competitions with the IFBB and I was trying to focus on size rather than strength, natural bodybuilding competition.
